Capybara Mod for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.20.1 and 1.19.2, adds capybaras, basically, one of the most loved and desired creatures by the community since the early days of the game. This is a giant rodent-like animal, which is very rarely found in jungles.
Capybaras can appear in groups of one to four creatures, and in fact, there is also a smaller (baby) version. These animals are easily tamed, and in fact can be tamed by offering them melons, watermelons, sugar cane or apples.
When a capybara has been tamed, it will be possible to make them sit or stand, as long as you make use of a pre-determined stick, as well as right-click a chest on them to make them carry it. In other words, these creatures will be a kind of “walking chests”, allowing any item to be stored inside them.
In addition, players will be able to sit on any of these capybaras, but their movements cannot be controlled, unless a leash is used. However, if they were domesticated, they would behave in a similar way to dogs, even teleporting.
Capybaras will spawn by default in some biomes in Minecraft, and the creator has also added a spawn egg ideal for creative mode. The main use of these animals is none other than to transport items more easily.
