Dark Waters Mod for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4 and 1.19.2, incorporates a large number of very dangerous aquatic creatures that can spawn in the oceans at certain points in the game. In particular, these beings can only appear during the course of storms.
The idea is none other than to increase the difficulty level of the oceans, making them much more terrifying, and in fact, apart from the addition of these creatures, it also changes certain features. For example, players who enter the ocean during a storm will receive blindness and environmental storm effects.
Many of the sea monsters are based on Eldrich, and combined with a variety of unique mechanics, as well as the dark storm, they will pretty much spell doom for many players. For now, the number of creatures is close to ten, with many more planned for future updates.
For now it is available as a beta version, and that means that the AI of the creatures as well as the characteristics of the storms still need to be improved to make the experience a much better one. However, despite this latest data, it remains one of the best options when it comes to improving the oceans.
All of the above features make Dark Waters a fantastic choice for players who feel that Minecraft’s ocean is largely untapped. All the creatures are extremely aggressive, and their aim is to kill everything that moves.
