GraveStone Mod for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.1, 1.19.4 and 1.19.2, generates a tomb every time a player dies, and of course, all items and armour they are currently wearing will be saved. Recovering these items is really easy, as you only need to break the tomb (it can be done by hand).
By right-clicking on the grave, information related to the time of death will be displayed, and in fact, the player will receive an obituary right after death. This element provides the player’s name, the dimension in which he died, the date of death, the coordinates or even the exact number of items he had when he died.
By default, the obituary will remain in the inventory, even after picking up the grave (this is something that can be configured). Another possibility is to break the tomb with a silk touch incantation, which will drop the items but also the tomb itself, which can be customised to change the name or text displayed.
By picking up a tomb, all items will return to their original position (again, this can also be modified), but one of the most popular features is related to the mystical. In fact, it is possible to visualise a ghost of the player himself, be it friendly or aggressive.
This fantastic add-on offers several customisation and configuration options, and for example, it is possible to modify the following aspects (at any time during the game):
