Mantle Mod for Minecraft 1.20.2, 1.19.4, 1.18.2 and 1.16.5, is an open source (shared) API and library for other game developers who wish to use it. It provides a base, so that mod makers can use it to save time in their creations, allowing them to save time.
Although it is not an add-on ready to modify the game to a large extent, Mantle does offer mod makers some features such as a new interface. This user interface will be common to many blocks and elements, ideal for mods that focus on adding content in this way.
On the other hand, this add-on provides storage support, so that developers can store data from their mods on the hard disk. This will allow creators to make larger and more complex mods without taking up too much space.
The next feature, intended for larger mods that have players all over the world, is that adding translations will now be quite easy. In fact, it is one of the recommendations that the community often gives to mod developers, who sometimes do not understand the original language.
In addition, Mantle was first released in 2014, and since then, it has been included in major Minecraft projects, and mods as well known as Thaumcraft. Importantly, this add-on does not have a function as such for casual players, but its use may be mandatory in order to be able to play.
