Moonlight Lib Mod for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4 and 1.19.2, is an add-on that provides a set of specific utilities necessary for the proper functioning of certain mods. For example, it allows the creation of dynamic data and/or resource bundles at a given runtime.
The latter will allow mod makers to easily tweak and texture any of the existing textures in the vanilla version of Minecraft, as well as those added by other mods. Typically, this feature is used to create blocks similar to stone or wood.
Traditionally, it is very complicated to scan the registered blocks and complete the configuration regarding the introduction of these new blocks into the game, but this will now be much easier. Basically, it provides a dynamic support for the blocks, such as, for example, the aforementioned wood.
Also, it is a set of utilities that allows to detect any block modified either by the same creator, or by another related to the existing modifications. This is ideal to obtain an equivalent block, but with a different colour, fitting perfectly with the predetermined theme or experience.
Actually, Moonlight Lib only makes the work of mod developers easier, allowing them to duplicate or obtain similar blocks in an easier way. In fact, they will even be able to modify the artificial intelligence of some of the “vanilla” creatures, such as the villagers.
